RENT A BIKE AT OOTY(NILGIRIS) / COONOOR / KOTAGIRI    The nilgiris on the western ghats of southern India is known for its cool climate, green mountains, variety of wild lifes, old British heritage, tea plantations, tourist locations, cinema shooting spots and much more tourist locations. Want to explore Ooty of wheels? Basically I am a adventure lover, love to travel and explore this beautiful world. For out staioners and foreign tourists the option to explore the various tourist spots is by hired taxi or Tamilnadu state transport buses. Buses are not frequent and does not cover every location. Taxi ride is costly and not good for explorers. In recent times renting of bikes becomes popular in India especially in tourist locations. Bikes are cheap compared to cars and SUVs. Bikes can be ridden easily in traffic congested tourist locations and narrow lanes/roads. They give more mileage per gallon/liter of petrol which is cheap and economical option for budget travellers....

Welcome. This is a guide portal to the popular hill station in southern India, the Nilgiris. The Nilgiris called 'Ooty' is located in the western ghats of India which is a District in the southern state Tamilnadu. Its cooler climate, greener mountains, variety of flora and fauna, Tea estates and spices attract thousands of tourists from every corner of the world.
